Organic, shade-grown 3 Brothers Coffee is proudly brought to you by the Cayetano family of Avondale. The beans they roast come direct from their own Nayarit, Mexico plantation, which has been in their family for 3 generations. This local Phoenix coffee roaster is owned and operated by Inocente Cayetano, Sr., his wife Dora, and their three sons, Inocente Jr., Daniel, and Matthew. Immediately upon arriving in the United States in the 1980’s, Inocente Sr. set to work laying the foundation for launching a coffee company that could represent his family’s plantation back in Mexico. This company finally launched in 2003, and quickly grew from a simple backyard business (roasted on a barbecue grill), to a private label provider for numerous local businesses, to recently passing a tough taste test that earned it a place on the shelves of AJ’s Fine Grocers.

The Cayetanos are committed to producing their coffee beans in the traditional way. Though their method takes more time, the “old-fashioned” way is one of their keys to a higher quality product. Because they are personally and actively involved in the growing, harvesting, processing, transport, and roasting of their coffee, they are able to maintain the highest standards of production from hillside bean to flavorful beverage. You can literally taste the pride that goes into this coffee!

Basic offerings include dark roast, medium roast, and breakfast blend. Look also for seasonal blends such as holiday pumpkin spice.

Actually the French explorers learned about vanilla in their first voyages to Latin America. But we're pretty ok with what they've done with the beans and how great it makes our coffee taste.
